This year we’ve had a huge focus on CPR training. We’ve worked tirelessly as an organization to support our public and charter high schools prepare to begin teaching CPR in the 2019 school year.
Our goal is to make Tucson known as the “City of CPR”, you may not know this but Hands-Only CPR was developed right here in Tucson at Sarver Heart Center, with funding from the AHA. Our bystander CPR intervention numbers should be the highest in the country!
We, here at the Southern Arizona Division of the American Heart Association, aim to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives. I am confident that you share that passion as well.
