Building on a century of lifesaving progress in cardiovascular disease and stroke, the American Heart Association has centered a new vision for its next 100 years: Advancing health and hope for everyone, everywhere.

To achieve this vision by 2028, the American Heart Association will drive breakthroughs and implement proven solutions in science, policy and care for healthier people and communities. The greatest discoveries in health must reach people where they are.

Every person means working with every community and that is why our Executive Leadership is so important. The Heart of Southern Arizona Campaign is a catalyst for this work.

Your support is needed now more than ever.

Heart disease remains the number 1 killer of all Americans, and stroke is number 5. Although great strides are being made towards prevention and cure of these diseases, they still take a staggering toll. Your support helps ensure that we can continue to fund cardiovascular research, support front line healthcare workers, and help those in our communities who are disproportionately impacted by heart disease and stroke. It will provide critical resources and education to schools and companies working to improve health and well-being, and fund initiatives that address social inequities and barriers to healthcare that exist for People of Color. 

It will ensure that the work we do daily to improve hospital care, teach CPR, and fight for healthy policies will continue. We hope you will decide to take part in helping the American Heart Association provide more lifesaving breakthroughs by supporting our 2026 Heart Ball.
